Question WRX ECU ignition map conversion factors

In the stock ECU (viewed via EcuTek Flash2002 or similar viewer), the ignition map values in both the main ignition and ignition correction maps are one byte values...

Does anyone know the conversion factor for these (ie, 0x00 = 0 degrees BTDC, 0xFF = n degrees BTDC) for either or both of these maps?

Is it a linear or nonlinear relationship (I'd certainly hope it's linear...)

My research is showing 0xFF on the ignition correction map would be 90 degrees, and 0xFF on the main ignition map is 31.5 degrees.

What are you guys seeing?

Thanks,

/Andrew
