Post rookie needs experts help please read

ok i am going to do a pretty big project with my car. I am going to install a apex-i s-afc in my 00 RS. Also i am getting a autometer lunar series egt and a shift light. I also need to get all this crap like mounting and housing. but have any of you installed a afc w/o dynoing it? I need a lot of help in this area. I am scared im going to lean my car out too much and blow the engine to pieces. i know that all cars are different but i need a range of settings from your afc's. remember this is a MY00 RS. Please help me out and maybe one of you guys can help me install it please. but your info is good enough. Im just a little high school student looking for a big brother to help him out. thanx
