Default 205/55/16 S-O3 Vs 215/50/16 KDW

Putting them on the 16x7 RS wheel...the KDW would be 1.6% smaller (which is nothing)..

using them for summer/spring/fall and mainly highway commute...

I would be using Dunlop M3 on steel wheels for winter....

is the S-O3 worth the $10-$20 more per tire? and will the 215 width of the KDW give more cornering grip than the 205 S-O3?

S03s tend to be "fat", in fact if you check out the specs, the width of the tread on the 205/55-16 S03 is actually more than that of the 215/50-16 KDW ! (7.6in vs 7.2 in).

I have the S03s . If you want to save a little money the Goodyear F1 GsD3 have generally been found in most tests to be "better" than the S03.
