Default Jackstands Messed up my Car

I jacked my car up the other day to change brake pads, brake lines, and bleed the brakes. The morning after I jacked the car up, I looked at the sills along the side of the car and I noticed that the stands made big dents at every place they were located. Should I worry about this? The doors still line up and everything but the jack stand points are all bent in. I'll try and get some pictures up.

It's just cosmetic. Nothing to worry about.
Next time, slot some 1x4 or 2x4 to put on the jackstand so the metal fits into the slot.

Jackstands should come with plastic inserts. I wonder if those companies have ever been sued for car damages?

I would buy jackstands that come properly prepared for most cars, like the jacks are made.

I've never seen any Craftsman (or other) jackstands sold with plastic inserts. I've seen plastic inserts you can buy separately; I just bought a heavy-duty rubber mat and cut it into pieces: a piece between stand top and metal prevents scratching. Proper placement of the jackstands should pretty much prevent any denting.
