Question Cabin smells after high revs

Hello. Should my cabin smell somewhat after revving the engine to about 5000-6000? I'm not dropping the clutch or anything, I just scared off some kids in a Cavalier tonight after the driver revved his engine at me. What about after flooring it, but being kinda careful with the clutch? It's the classic smell that causes freinds to say, "Dude your burning your clutch!" I got the same smell with with my Integra, which never needed a new clutch after 120k miles. Is it just gases from the engine coming in through the air ducts? I've always wondered where the smell came from. I hope it's not that I've been doing something bad with the clutch all these years. My engine mods are:

custom reflash
VF24
STi injectors
Walbro fuel pump
Borla header
PDE uppipe
Bosal downpipe
ProDrive axle-back
Worx Tuning BOV
GFB pulley kit
Perrin short ram intake
STi engine, transmission, and pitch mounts
Samco hoses

Shouldn't smell. If it smells like clutch...it's probably clutch.

How many miles you have?
