I'm looking at replacing the bug eyes with something better.
I'm tossing the idea of morettes, STi LHD, Prodrive. Which has the better field of vision? Which has has a better longevity as far as use is concearned? (not bulb life) Resale value? Replacement parts? (non bulb) |

well, i have heard that the prodrive ones provide better light then the STIs, i love the way the STIs look, but i will be getting the prodrive ones due to better optics.

Nice truck Shane. I have a '91 Toy, I'm getting ready to do a solid axle swap on. Get rid of the ifs and make it a serious rock crawler.
Back to topic, the morettes have always been my favorite in the looks department, but the prodrives will probably be a better light. |

I"ve heard of people needing new lens covers for the morettes and prodrive. THats why I was leaning towards the STi versions. Any thoughts about that?
Also is there a better place to go through for prodrives than prodriveusa.com? |

I wouldn't expect the longevity to differ among the 3 of them. The right rock in the wrong spot will crack any headlight. Of course the STI lights have a lens cover that is the same size as the whole assembly, while the other two do not.
Are you sure Prodrive still sells those lights here? I thought they stopped...Arnie would know for sure I suppose. |

have any pictures of your truck? Rock Crawling is a lot of fun.
![]() as for the lights, i do believe that the morettes/prodrives/ Ociari lights all have the same hella optics. if you brake one, i think they are around 80bucks to replace, where as a STI one i way more. I still like the look of the STI ones, but i want the best light posable. I think the Prodrives and Ociari a built a little better (i think) heres a pic of the Ociari ones. Shane Quote:
