Default Wish this was on option for us..

I found this on the Switzerland Subaru site. It's a VDO navigation system. www.vdodayton.com has the MS 5500 that looks like that screen only it is silver...

The LCD screen controls the Webasto Thermosystem supplemental interior heat and engine pre-heat unit.

They also get a Heads-Up-Display option, self-leveling rear suspension option, and other items (including the NAV option above) that the LARGEST Subaru market in the world does not get.

The Subaru of Switzerland shows the options available. I did the conversion and the full navigation system (there are 2 models) costs US$2,382.

But it is an interesting site. Guess that higher standard of living gives Switzerland some toys they figure the average American wouldn't be willing to buy.

They also have some cool options like coat hangers, rear radar, remote start, baby and toddler seats, HID, and some front grill and body trim options! Guess it's good to be Swiss!

The HID is only US$377 I wonder........

Dang! That's cheap for HID. I wonder if it's plug and play with our wiring harness..

Frankly, for a factory installed navigation system, that is not too bad. Most factory installed navigation systems raise the MSRP by at least $2,000.
