The diameter will be way more than the stock size, and you may have rubbing isues, depending on what offset your wheels are.

take the fenders off and run a -10 offset wheel and they might fit

245/35-18 would be the proper size 245-width tire to run, and yes, it should fit pretty well.

255 35 18s on on a 8.5 with wheel? Luke send me a test tire if it fits I will buy the set I will be violating the STi this weekend rolling the rear fendors the SSRs have landed...
