Actually its true.

The childrens song was originally sung just that way with the N word injective. There are many songs of various use that have been slightly modified from the roginal to be more 'PC'. One in my household thats of constant arguement is "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" which was a Confederate marching song. Mrs. Janq being a born Yankee and granola crunch raised chick learned it in school with slightly different words to make it softer. There's another but I can't recall the original just now. Folks would be shocked at where & how stuff orignated from slavery.

And to say you had a gran mal seizure from a song is really ridiculous. Anyone that has ever suffered or seen a grand mal seizure would know this.

In the end though this is just another case of a dummy, who just happens to be Black, trying to make a quick buck at th expense of another. If I were the judge I would have thrown it out as baseless and given the plaintiff(s) a severe tongue lashing that to this day would still be rining in their ears.

To me, that's what it means. If used in a derogatory manner, I'd rather think it's being used against someone's character and not the color of their skin. Does that make sense? Pretty much just as Chris Rock put it. However, the stupidity that he talks about "******s" doing isn't just black people doing it. There are people in every race that do stupid isht. Well, whatever. Anyway the word orginates from the word Negro which is directly translated as "without color" or 'Black' in Spanish. The word originates from the slave trade days and the Spanish slang use of 'Neger'. That waord was as many other s have been modified by the then then so called 'Americans' in to "******" with an 'i' inserted in place of the 'e' followin phonetical pronunciation.

Again by definitaion the word evolved from meaning black as in the color, or lack there of dpending on your perception, to becoming a label and soon there after a perjorative. For those of you like myself who are nuts for old dictionaries reference any dictionary printed priot to roughly 1970 and you will all manner of negative connotations for the word ranging from "a lazy person" to "an ignorant person" to "a person of little or no value" and worst. Not one of these is good or somthing to not want to slap the taste out the guys mouth when he refers to you as such. Further only a person born yesterday would not know the association between that word and that of the American Negro.
