Default Best Tire Size for my RS wheels

got some 00 6spoke RS wheels.

Ive asked this question before, and maybe im not asking it right. Im not able to get a good answer. I think ive decided that I want Yoko AVS ES100's.

Its a 16' Wheel. I personally think the stock RE92's (205 16 55, right?) looks kinda balloony and tall.

Does anyone recommend a size that might be a bit wider, lower profile, and less balloony?

Or should i just stick w/ the stock sizing.

Just saw another thread where someone asked about 225/60/16's.

Is this a good size? Anyone got Pics so i can see what im getting before i buy it. I would hate to be stuck w/ a tire that looks really bad.

You can get 205/50 on your stock rim as JDM GC8 has this size as stock setup. But if you have lowered the car, you might have to consider ground clearance as a problem.

No

You are probably stuck with 205/55s or you could go with 215/50s

try 205/50/16 or 215/45/16, i would lean towards the 205/50 tho.

Yup 215/ 50 is the widest your rim will hold. you can try a 215-45-16

You could also go to www.tirerack.com and put in your car info and it will bring up the OEM size and upgrades with details.

I run the 205/50/16 size (JDM-stylee) and I think the feel is a lot better than the 205/55/16s. The shorter sidewalls plus the added stiffness of a High Performance tire give it better handling IMO.

Edit: oh yeah, and I'm a little lowered on the P1/STi V6 set-up and don't have anything in the way of clearance issues.
