shocks and struts and springs OH MY!!

What is the diference between them all???
hurry I need to know for my website!!

Well, let's see. Feel free to correct/clarify if necessary:

Shock: Imagine a rod with a hole on each end. That's basically the form of a shock. Its purpose is to "damp" the motion of the wheels, so you don't go bouncing down the road. You see cars that hit a dip and the front end just keeps going up and down and up and down.... They need new shocks. Not found on the Impreza.

Spring: Pretty self explanatory. This is what actually supports the vehicle. Its purpose is to provide reistance to suspension motions, but will do little to stop those motions once started (that's what shocks are for)

Struts: Imagine a spring with a shock inside of it. Then add a couple bolt holes to the bottom of the shock. Make it an integral, load bearing part of the suspension, and you have a strut. Here's a couple pics-

so a good suspension upgreade would be kyb struts,wrx shock, and eibach springs??
and by the way I think my impreza project is slower

No no... it's either strut OR shock. Struts are just shocks with plates on them to mount the spring on. If you look under an older car that didn't come with struts you'll see the spring and shock are mounted seperately.
