Cool I'm excited...

about the new season!

Having said that I was going to retire my WRX from the track and look for a track car...I haven't found anything suitable yet, so the Suby is back on the track!

First time trial and race are at Willow Springs next weekend and I am definitely doing the TT and the race practices and possibly the two races - I'll see how I feel. It will be my first time back on the track since getting black flagged for bad wheel bearings at Laguna Seca in mid-May!

Got the alignment done (-3.5 front camber, 1/32 toe per side, -2 rear, zero toe), got the Azenis on (and got 2 new ones mounted and balanced as spares), changed all lubricants, washed and waxed the car, took out the passenger seat, even cleaned and re-oiled my K&N drop-in filter AND got my tech inspection done a week early.

I'd better do well.

That is more front negative than I've ever run but I'm just experimenting to try to cure a severe understeer that the car develops in turn 2 at Willow. I'll probably be running tyre pressures in the 39-41 lbs range (hot, of course). Which reminds me, I need to get a decent pressure gauge that reads 1/2 lb increments. Any suggestions?
