Default Wheel Questions

Here are several newbie Wheel Questions.

1. What is Off-set? and...How do I decide what off-set to get?

2. What is P.C.D.? (note: several wheels that I looked at have different selections)

I am looking for light-weight wheels (12-14 lbs) range with the ability to add larger brakes down the road.

I really like the Rota Slip-streams, but they only come in 16 x 7.5, will they be able to fit larger brakes down the road?

I also like the SSR Competition, but they are $355 each. I was trying to get a set of wheels for about $1k.

Any other suggestions that meet my needs?

Regards...

You will pay top dollar to get lightweight wheels in the 12-14 lb range, especially if you want them to be strong.

Check the Sticky threads for info on Offset, they explain it the best (with diagrams).
