Default Rota Slipstream

I really like the Rota Slipstream, it is very light and pretty good looking. Unfortunatly, they only come in 16 x 7.5.

Will larger breaks fit in these, or do I have to find a 17" rim?

Also I like the SSR Comps, but at $350 per that is rather expensive.

The Slipstreams are 16x7.

Unfortunately, they do not offer room for larger brakes, even the Subaru 4-pots will not fit. Unless you try Ion Performance. They sell - or at least sold - a BBK that fits behind the stock 16x6.5 WRX wheels:

On the other hand, the Rota Attacks in 17x7.5 aren't much more money and you can fit the Stoptech BBK behind them.

But they're 2 lbs heavier per wheel and probably not as strong as the Slipstreams.

Default Attacks

I looked at the Attacks and they weight as much as my stock, so I took a pass on them. I am more interested in weight issues, not looks. I do like the looks of the Attacks.

The Slips are 13 pounds that is 3.5 lbs lighter than the Attack or stock. That is the only reason I was interested in them.

I also checked out the SSR Comps, but they are $355 per wheel - Ouch! They only weight 13lbs

Any other 17"s that weight in at 12-14 lbs?

BTW - thanks for the link on the brake discussion....maybe the Slipstreams will work
