Default 18" Tires. Falken Azenis or Goodyear F1?

Or something else? Looking for a tire with excellent dry and wet traction. I guess the azenis are out as they don't have great wet traction. Where I live it rains 50% of the time. Please post some reccomendations.

Toyo T1-S would be a good investment or BS S-03(too expensive IMHO)
I was about to say Azenis is not a good rain tire when I see the title..

I just picked up a set of Eagle F1 GS-d3s from the tirerack. I had a coupon from goodyear, plus $50 rebate from goodyear, so they came out pretty cheap. As far as I could tell, they were one of the top three tires offered by tire rack in the max performance category. They have pretty much the best wet traction of any tire on the market, and have goodyear quality. So, my vote for your street tire is the goodyear, but for the track or if you lived in a dry environment, then Azenis would be a good choice.

This thread might help:

I've talked myself into the GS-D3 - in 225/45x17 - but the Falken FK451 mentioned in the thread above would likely have a much stiffer sidewall.

Goodyear! I have used both, and while the Azenis are good in the rain at close to full tread, they hydroplane easily once they start to wear down. And even with both of them at full tread, the F1 GS-D3 have much better rain performance.

I have posted one or two fairly detailed reviews, you should be able to find them with a search.

Edit: Just noticed that you said 18" in the thread title. There is no Azenis in an 18" size.

I run 17" goodyear F1's I have no complaints in the rain at all!!! I can get them to squeel pretty easy though. But usually dont hammer my car in the turns that often, so I am happy with them
