Default Bought new wheels today...

I just bought a set of Superleggars' for the sti.

They are 19x8, w/ a 235/35/19.

By my calculations, they are about 3-4 pounds a corner lighter than stock.

The only thing I do not know is what is the weight of the stock bbs?

Cheers.

Man I hope they don't start bashing you for having 19 inch wheels. I don't have 19 but it's cool. What color did you get?

I believe the stock bbs are 16.5 lb each. I highly doubt the oz's are lighter than stock especially with that size. Nice rims though

The OZ's weigh in at a touch under 18lbs.

What is interesting, is that the tyres (19s) are 3.5 pounds lighter than the stockers (17s)... spose less is more here. They're super bright silver; the anthracite is no longer available.

I was going to get the three piece ones, but they were about 5lbs heavier than the one piece, and because of the offset issues, there wasn't that much of a lip on the rim (bout .75").

I paid 3k canadian for the package, which included all hardware, mounting and balancing. I went with the Ecsta MX, because I have had good results with them on my Acura, and they seem to be quite a good value, considering I go through rubber quite quickly. Unfortunatly, I have to go back to work tomorrow, so I won't get to see (or drive on them) for a month.

This is apparently a direct replacement package... I hope it doesn't rub.
