Default power steering problem

Ok.... I was running hard down a canyon and about half way down I hear a weird noise (like the noise the power steering makes when you turn the wheels all the way to the left or right) but MUCH louder.

So i pull over and let the fluid cool and i didnt make the sound again

Im thinking I over heated the power steering fluid. Does that sound like what i did?

if so how do i change it out and what fluid should i buy?

disconnect one line

empty content, then hook up a small pump to the line, suck all liquid out, then refill slowly, making sure to not make any air bubles.

reconnect everything.

as easy as an oil change.
