Hi There
I have also posted this in the Newbie section I am a Newbie from Down Under, with an Outback H6 with VDC. It is an 04/2001 Build and is prior to the in dash VDC off switch. After circumnavigating Australia (28,000kms / 17,500 miles) I have identified there are times when VDC is down right annoying, and potentially dangerous (and regularly embarrassing) , Like deep sand and mud. I have a suspension Kit with H/D Springs and Lifting Blocks so we have an extra 3" of clearance (excluding the Diffs) I realise the VDC is primarily a safety feature and after driving this distance with 40% on sand and dirt, it is fantastic especially when towing a trailer. BUT.. .. does anyone know of an aftermarket upgrade that can offer the disabling of the VDC. I have resorted to lifting the Bonnet (Hood) and pulling the fuse, but this takes out everything VDC, ABS etc. Thnaks Terry
