OH yeah that's gotta be a Subaru. The lights give it away, front and rear. The rear deck is very distinguishable.

Nice job, the driver done good.

Those rear lights on that other car looked like a Prelude's... seems like there was a brake light in the middle of the trunk too -- not sure what that is.

That other car got smoked though. Looked liked he just stopped in the middle of the race

Looks like a scooby to me. Look at the side skirts of the car as it passes by. It looked like a scooby skirt and the high rear. Just my $.02

KK, that's what I thought too. But after viewing it a few more times, that light could have been the reflection of the other car's lights.

I noticed the exhaust onthe right hand side, and the lights on the front end almost line up to a scoob, but my biggest hangup is that it sounds almost like a 300Z... a turbo one. You can tell the louder of the sound was on the faster of the two cars since it goes away just as he lets off, the real question is what is that sound?

Garranteed the faster car is a later model Mazda MX-6 V-6 with the high beams on with aftermarket fogs. Look at the rear quarter of the car as the slower car's headlights gives light. You see the unique rear quarter panel and stock flat wing.
I will bet money that this is the winning car. As far as the other car I have no idea...kinda looks like a Civic though...

Rallyguy2K is ABSOLUTELY correct. View posted picture here:

You can clearly see the little light on the side of the bumper and the tail-lights are very similar to an RS. Now go back and view the video. Sorry guys. Its not an RS. However, the MX-6 in my picture belongs to my friend and I can easily torch that one.

In addition: Just did a little more research. Here is a shot from the beginning of the video and a front shot of an MX-6 AND an RS. You can see that the MX-6 has a small side-marker on the front bumper at the side. It shows up very well in the video too. Our side-marker is much further back and higher up. Oh, and the foglights on the MX-6 are stock.

Definately NOT an RS. I would agree with the MX-6 or ford probe theory.

Hey Bugbump.. Does the RS and the MX-6 are yours ??? (Ok sorry, I just read the entire post that you made, and I saw that it was your friends car.. The MX-6 is mostly the same as the RS.. I do 15.22 with my RS on the 1/4 mile and I did 15.23 with my MX-6, (both stock).. The thing is, the MX-6 is faster on the hiway..)

I know that someone else on the board got a RS and a MX-6 like mine.. Who is it ??

Someone told me that the guy was having a RS and a Red MX-6 with the same Ground effect as mine.. hehe. Maybe a lost brother ..

BTW, My Mx-6 is half for sale.. Why half, because, I dont really advertise it, but if someone want it, I can let it go maybe.. Its Turbo ready .. All the pipings are included.. Evaluated at 30 500$ CND asking 20 000$ CND.. you can have more info at http://pages.infinit.net/subarurs/

I cant resist to put this picture in.. hehe.

Take care guys
Mike M.

Mike Moffa: True the RS is about the same as the MX but my friends is an auto hehehe. We g-tech'd his car doing about 9 seconds 0-60. I guess if he had a manual...

...On another note, would you believe I have a LOT of YOUR movies on my computer? When I first started getting into RSs I found your site and downloaded a bunch of them. I showed them to all my friends. Some cool stuff going on there! Especially the ones in the snow! "Show me the power of the Type-R!" LOL!

KK : So, you sold your MX-6 ? how many kms on it ? How much did you sell it for ?

BugBomb, oh ok, that is why you kick is ass.. hehe. Auto is pretty much slow.. Bad that he got a Auto, because the MX-6 got a very good setup with the V6 and Manual trany.
hehe, so, you have a lot of my video, thats cool.. I will need to make some new one this summer.. hehe... Ya, "Show me the power of a Type-R" Was pretty much good.. hehe. My friend almost get stock in the snow, and me, I was playing in it with the RS.. hehe.. The difference is so HUGE.

Hucker and Stickee, About the Movie of the Type-R and the VW on my site, I never found a program or how to blurred the plate. One guy that I know was supose to do it long time ago, but never did..
If you know a way, a program to do it, just let me know, I will do it. Because a lot , A LOT of people is waiting for that movie.. hehe

Take cars guys
Mike M

Mike Moffa - Try Adobe Premiere. I think you can do frame-by-frame editing in it.
