wait...if the car has no plates, then the car can not be parked on the street. I guess the car is stolen out of the driveway then?

And you said the car has been sold? Has the cash/title be transferred yet? Without insurance, this will get ugly

There was another blaze yellow WRX stolen in Fresh Meadow a few weeks ago (it was posted here and on SQC)

the car was just sold, the plates were turned inon our end. the title was transfered and the money was transfered, so this is not my car. it was 100% the other persons car. just that it sucks that they were in the middle of getting the car registsred and insured

Lets hope this one gets recovered with just a popped ignition.

My bad.

It's always tragic to hear about someone's car being stolen but in this case... really messed-up situation.

I know my insurance co will make the coverage retroactive for new purchases. So, when I bought my Impreza on a Saturday, I called for the insurance coverage on Monday retro back two days, and then registered the car.
