Question Car wash in Raleigh???

Okay, my baby needs a post-snow carwash. It's too cold to do it by hand, but I'm really worried about taking it to an automatic wash. Also, I'd like to go somewhere with an undercarriage wash to get all of this salt/sand off of her underside.

Does anyone know of a good carwash in Raleigh I can take her to (preferably one close to Capital Blvd)?

At the intersection of Wake Forest and Six Forks, just down Wake Forest from Southern States Subaru is a good hand wash place. They did a quite good job on mine last Saturday. It was all by hand, with no brushes or machines. I don't know if they do an undercarriage wash.

Expensive though... $20 after I tipped the worker.

Sweet! That's near Papa Lou's (the wing/hamburger place) right?

I may check that out this weekend.
Thanks!

Yes, that Papa Lou's used to be a Miami Subs Grille.

Also if you are a do-it-yourselfer then you can head over to Millbrook road where you will find between Atlantic and Old Wake Forest Rd. (There is only perhaps a 1/4 mile between these two roads.)

I've had good luck with the Bunkey's in cary. They use all cloth on their machine and dry with cotton towels. I think its $12 for a full wash, and they have a $2 coupon on their website....

My dad does that actually; he has an "on-demand" hot water heater. So once it gets started, hot water is unlimited until you either run the propane tank for the house out (highly unlikely) or you run out of water. Pretty neat setup.

There's a Brushless automatic car wash right across from southern states that really impressed me last time I went, I used to go to Bunky's in Cary, but this is ALOT better, and slightly cheaper.

Speaking of bunkeys in cary, they crunched miranda's STi with a strech limo today while we were getting the car washed after the rallycross.....I guess I would like to "undo" my recommendations.
