Wow, after seeing that I'm not as upset about putting my car through a wooden fence this morning. Still not thrilled, but not as upset.

Thanks! I've been browsing for a while, but never really posted. Anyway, I hit a patch of ice in a tight s-turn and couldn't keep it on the road. The fencepost dug in at the corner marker and drug back to the rear tire. $2400 estimate.

Yeah, but what can I do? My insurance will pay a good bit of it and I'll have it fixed within 2 weeks at the most because it makes me sick to look at it.

Oh crap!!! I can't believe that the passenger compartment survived an impact like that- I mean that front end is pushed in like a few feet and the roof pushed up, but the interior pics show that the seat/steering wheel/dash relationship looks alright. Amazing!!! There is also a pic on the net of an SVX that got rear ended by a truck- whole back end smashed, interior and front look perfect...What great engineering.

Yeah, I posted that a few months ago. I think we determined that it was a large pole or tree. Talk about devistation, but look at how nearly untouched that passenger cabin is. Amazing.
