Default does vishnu ever answer email? what can i use for forester without hacking harness?

I sent a question in an email askng if any of his producst could be made to work on a 01 forester. Never got a response back. Does smnyone here know if there is anything out there that I wont have to rewire the car for? Or at least a source for the ecu plugs so I could make a sort of sub harness in order to avoid hacking the car harness?

Your best bet is to call to get a human to respond FWIW.

I emailed them on the 21st.

At this pont I think their customer service is lacking enough that I will go elsewhere. Being closed or whatever is completely forgivable, set up an automatic email responder to say "hey we are closed or out for XYZ reason" just not answering a potential customers email is plain stupid. Im ready to lay ~2k on some EMS right now.

I purchased a TEC3 from them. For those of you that know the system it is a bit more expensive than the ecutek or xede.

After i purchased it and needed something that was supposed to be included in the package, they didnt feel like responding to any of my calls, emails and even went as far as pretty much telling me that i was goin to get a basemap for my wrx motor, but that never happened.

Just wanted to share with you the crap that i had to deal with involving Vishnu.

You can go and purchase where you want, just take into consideration what happened to me and your present experiences with them.

They have disregarded almost every single email that I have ever sent them. I absolutely will not do business with them again.

They are focusing on EVO's now. I've got friends with Evo's that get same day responses to their emails.

yeah I gave up on Vishnu too after they ignored my emails. I did finally got a reponse after resending my email a few times and it was very brief and cryptic, didnt really answer my question. Planning on going with cobb nowadays. Like someone mentioned, seems like Vishnu is busy with evos...

That is a complaint that I have had an amazingly numerous amount of times. Vishnu never replys to emails. I have sent them over 15 emails and have receaved only one in return. I was a huge vishnu fanatic because I have seen the performance first hand, but have lost my inthusiasm for them since. Mainly because of the horrably shotty customer service. Well at least through email. If you can get them on the phone than you are set.

As was stated previously in this thread, call them. In the past 6 months they've revamped their staffing considerably, so I almost always get a hold of someone on the phone. They are a lot better than they used to be as far as customer service goes...

I don't know of any plug and play solutions for an 01 Forester, so I believe you only have wire in options. I can recommend a wire in solution based on your setup/goals/use of the car/budget if you're willing to do wiring (or have it done). If hacking the harness is all you want to avoid, I can have a plug and play jumper harness made for you.

When I wrote tham an email, I receaved a reply the fallowing day. They stated that wrecently they have done alot to help the situation. they hired another person to answer phones and have been trying there bes to answer all there emails.

SO baisicaly, the problems they were having are taken care of.

Ryan.
