Default Crank windows into a WRX?

This is a thought, and I was wondering how this could be done...

If you want to do it to save weight, don't worry about it. The power window motors in a WRX are tiny.

thats not the reason... carbon fiber door cards do not permit electric windows. So I'm gonna have to convert to manual.

I'm sure they could be modified to fit...a little cutting would be required however...I take it this is for a Rally project?

Default Roll up

First, what is a door card? Second, if you mean a CF door to replace the steel OEM units, where do you get them?

As stated, there is no weight difference between roll up and electric hardware. The rally cars I have seen either don't roll at all (they open the door to get their time card) or they use the electric units.

your building a rally project and you can figure out how to rig up manual windows?.....wow....

Just put the units out of a Legacy or Older Impreza that had manual windows.

Have you ever had a problem that you would rather have other people indicate how to, and not have to worry about it yourself?
