Default Rear mirror with temp guage

I have a dimming rear mirror with the compass and have seen some other mirrors with lights, dimming, temp guage and compass. If I bought one of these mirrors I wonder if it would just hook in the harness without any modification? I would say that this is the same company Subaru buys the current dimming mirrors from. I know I would have to run the temp guage but besides that what else would need to be hooked up? And does any one have a wiring diagram on the current mirror that shows what each wire goes to?

Thanks,
haven

Yes - it certainly would! The Subaru mirror is manufactured by Donnelly (also sold as Cipa) - you just need one with a camlock style windshield mount, and it's a direct replacement. I installed one in my car to replace my original autodimming mirror - wiring is simple - you just add a couple of leads to the stock harness - you need to run the wires for the temperature sensor (2 leads), and you need to run a power lead for the maplights (you can either splice of the switched power lead used for the mirror itself, or grab the constant power lead used for the stock maplights (which is what I did).

I ordered mine from here
http://store.yahoo.com/sports-imports/autdimrearvi.html

First time I ever ordered from Sports-Imports Ltd. OK service.
Package showed up before I received a comformation email.
Took about 10-12 days.

Installation is pretty simple especially if you already have the dimming mirror.
Hardest part is running the temperture sensor through the car.

Check this, Super helpful

Got it from "copper z71" on ebay - he actually has exactly what you need on eBay right now (but if this one sells, just fire off an email to him and he will hook you up) - looks like all of them have blue backlighting now (until recently, they were green)
