NICE... was looking for just this. But do you have the new model oil filter... the black one... ending in part #..... 0080 instead of 0060

just letting you al know both oil filters are posted on there I used the same picture for both, not thinking they looked different. The 080 filter is on there too (the turbo filter)

when purchasing from langstonspeed.com ignor the shipping cost! its not what you will have to pay at all it is just an estimate.

edit-I fixed the pictures

the WRX takes a short air filter, my post was wrong...hey what do you expect I am a girl sorry about that....on the oil filter subject for the WRX There are a lot of conflicting bulletins out about which filter fits the WRX I almost need a vin number to be correct. one parts guide says 060 and the other says 080.

if what you say about the short for airbox near fender, and long for air box top of engine is true.......then shouldn't the wrx use a short?

the wrx air box is right next to the fender, passenger side

I am unable to come up with a bulk offer price on oil filters, because the $5.18 price I have the filters listed at is the lowest the boss will let me go. We normally have them listed at about $6.55 each. At the discounted price we are only making pennies. Sorry.

A USDM EJ20 oil filter is the same as a JDM EJ20 filter correct???

I'm new to the world of the EJ20 so I'm not sure for certain.

Ok, so which oil filter is for a WRX? The 4.29 or 5.18 one? The 5.18 on says for STi, baja and forester. Other one says nothing.

Both will fit WRX but Subaru recently released a bulletin that they were changing WRX oil filter part numbers from 0060 (the $4.29 one) TO the 0080 ($5.18). So naturally I go with what they changed too, but the older style will work. Hope I don't mislead anyone.

So what about the new jdm version 8 engine; would it take the new black oil filter ( aa080) or something else?
Thanks
