Just a little while ago I was leaving best buy up on 35 in lewisville. As I drive out of the parking lot, I notice a viper gts (real gaudy, yellow with blue racing stripes and chrome wheels) I didn't turn my head to look as I drive past, but I notice both of the guys who're getting into it stop talking, turn their heads and watch me roll past.

I dunno, maybe it was me, but I thought that was funny...

We were out cruising one time and there was a viper on the highway going 60 or so, and he wouldnt even look over at us.

"Pff, losers, I am in a $80k car......your in a subaru."

Yeah but if I was in a viper, I might think the same way...just because...who knows, they got the money, that's really all that matters in this world

Course if he gets in an accident I'll be the one laughing my arse off cause he's got $20k worth of damage to his car

But nonetheless, they are nice cars.

You didn't turn your head yet you took enough though to notice what they were doing. Reading into things a bit I'm guessing. BTW, the factory never made a yellow with blue striped car. Could they have been black?

It could have just been a yellow viper that he put blue stripes on.

That is not it at all. You have to understand, when you are in a car taht gets a lot of attention, people are always waving and taking pictures or trying to get your attention. After a while, it starts to just become normal and you don't even notice anymore. I'm sure he wasn't looking down on your car or you, he just didn't notice.

I noticed them getting into the car as I turned down the row in the parking lot. No, they weren't black. Driver was middle aged and the passenger was early 30's I'd guess.

It was funny to me because here's two guys getting into an expensive american car that stop talking to watch me drive past in my sub $20k car.

Although to be honest even Neal at SOD was thought my car was a WRX at first, even without the hood scoop.

I thought this was stupid. Yesterday as traffic was moving it's wonderfull 5mph down I35 a TransAM on the other side of 35 blips his loud throttle as I we slowly rolled past each other. w-t-f??

Like there something either of us can do on opposite sides of a slow moving highway.

i love that too. its like even b3ttAr when you are stuck in traffic and the guy in the Supercharged Firebird with NOS is directly next to you and since his lane is going 1/10 of a mileperhour f4stAr then your lane. Guess who g3ts revved on? Not the Firebird. those guys are so insecure.
