what is stock oil presure on the 2.5 rs aprox at idle and on

idle = ~18psi
load = ~60psi

You're welcome. I should also point out that this is after the oil warms up. When the oil is cold I see over 100psi on my gauge, which only reads up to 100.

My autometer oil gaugw shows:

~22-24 Idle
~75 Load

My auto meter reads the same as the above post. about 80 till motor warms up.... I use castrol 30w

We're in the same ballpark. I should have said 60+ under load since I have seen mine up to about 75psi. FWIW, I use Mobil 1 5W-30 year round.

Question

Does oil pressure vary between synthetic vs regular, cold vs warm/hot days, altitude and so forth?

BTW: Thanks for the pressure info above. I still haven't gotten me an oil pressure gauge. *slap*
