Its Over!
FINALLY!
After 7 months of being without my car, i can actually drive it now! usdm WRX motor: -HKS uppipe -jdm STi turbo back ver.6 Type RA tranny All run by TEC3. Real pain in the ass that TEC3 is at first but once you get it- you get it. So happy i just drove the car home from the dealership after 7 months of it being there. They are sure goin to be surprised when they DONT see the car there in the morning! Cant wait for the reactions. billyqua rally driven.....................

he had a very limited time schedule to work on it, he had problems with the motor, getting the parts for the tec, correct maps, etc. etc.
basically if it could go wrong it did. The dealer didnt do the swap for those who are wondering. he just used their parking lot for storage  Jay |

Well i would post some pics, but unfortunatly i think i blew the timing belt on it yesterday.
 i will be in teh shop with it on sat and taking it apart to see waht happened. Not too happy that this happened but if it was goin to happen it mine as well happen now. dont want it to be working just fine for months and then have it die. i will keep you all updated on this on going saga to get the car to move. billyqua rally driven................. |

WELL after checking out everything on Saturday. We came to the conclusion that there was a bad oil pan leak. All the oil was gone, motor was bone dry.
So i killed some main bearings. Looks like i will most likely be getting a new STi block for it. So at least now i will have all the torque that i didnt want to lose in the first place. Look for it to be done sometime in March. Billyqua rally driven................. |
