yes I know the parts are from japan but were in the US can I pick up parts for my ej20G or order from? I broke something on my pressure cylinoid ((not good at spelling)) and I might try to fix it but I think I might have to replace it. what from a turbo legacy is useable?

The pressure exchange solenoid? The little brown cylindrical one that switches between sensing barometric and manifold pressure? You should be able to use one from any USDM Subaru that had one. That includes Legacy Turbos but also all 95+ Legacy automatics and some later manuals too.

I have a spare; PM me if you're interested in it.

Ohhhh.... That's the blowoff valve. The only drop-in USDM replacement would be from another 91-94 Legacy Turbo. You could adapt others, though.

Post in the Parts Shed forum on bbs.legacycentral.org and you might find someone who can sell you one.

Yes, you should be able to adapt others, though the legacy one would be the best solution. I have a GTI-R one going on my ej20g. Should be put on sometime this week now that the project is nearly wrapped up.

Yep, the turbo Legacy one should be identical. You can check the part numbers -- the Legacy one is 14471AA001. The part number should be printed on the red/silver sticker on yours too.

And if you're rich enough to afford it, you should be able to order a new one from a dealer. It lists around $85 so you should be able to get it for $60-$70 from a discounting dealer.
