Legacy 97 legacy hazards wont stop blinking. please help

yes i know i am cross posting but isnt that par for the course in the newb dept. sorry wont happen again. changed to a new battery and ripped out my clifford alarm thinking the hazards blinking was an alarm sensor but to make them stop i have to take out my powerdoorlock fuse and it quits. there is also a strange sound that blinks on and off with the hazards in the 'subaru keyless entry' black box under my dash....any ideas? thanks for the assistance. im promise no more crossposting.

the factory alarm unit is what is causing your problems. You need to reset it. I don't recall exactly how this is done......the guys in the legacy forum, would probably be able to help.
