Default Visiting family in Missouri at the end of May. Any suggestions on what to do.

I just paid for my plane tickets on travelocity.com. I am flying out from LAX to St Louis on May 24th and I will be staying for a week visiting my brothers and sister. I have never been out there, and I dont know how long I will be hanging with them since they have families of their own to take care of. Does anyone have suggestion on what to do. Thanks

If you wanted to check out a awesome suby tuner, go by Axispowerracing, it isn't far at all from St. Louis. Otherwise you could just do the usual stuff like go to the arch, or if you are 21 you could go to Washington street. That is where all the clubs are at, not really my thing. There are a few skateparks if you skate, infact there is one in the same buiding as Axis's AWD dyno.

JenisonWRX is down that way right now. Maybe shoot him a PM or something?! Have fun! (Oh...and I suggest enjoying the winding/hilly roads if conditions are good )

Lol. I wish I had the time to drive out there. I am sure two days straight driving could get me there. Maybe you guys could fly out to Las Vegas when we have our meet. I am driving out there. Ill even pick people up from the airport.

eh, i did it with a friend going the other way in a 86 Celica GTS in ~33 hours. that's with 5 hours to sleep, about 1.5-2 hour detour to see the Grand Canyon, and 3 hours waiting on a new alternator in Needles, CA

yeah, the arch is fun to go up. Forest Park has lots of cool things too. the Art Mueseum is fantastic if you're into art. the Zoo is badass too, as is the History Meuseum and the Science Center. best part is, they're all free there are the boats if you like to gamble. plenty of bars and clubs and resturants to suit your tastes. and no trip to the lou is complete without an excursion to Western Illinois. bring one dollar bills

there is also a divisional auto-x the 30-31 over at Gateway.

may would be a good time to head out just west of st. louis (Augusta) and visit the wineries. there's a small section in the hills and valleys of the old Ozark mountains (now just big hills) that produces surprisingly good wine grapes. There's various wineries (Augusta, Mt. Pleasant) that have produced some award winning beverages at local and national contests.

Also, if you're a fan of beer we've got the Anhueser-Busch brewery here and you can take a free tour and enjoy some free samples.

Other than that, 10th Warrior covered everything else.
