Is that datsun the one that crashed later? I've never seen a crash there, but I can imagine at 130 mph it isn't pretty.

so who was the wrx with front mount that and VF22 that ran a 12.6? I'll post a pic of it in a minute...

That was Schaff100. Check out his thread about his runs
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=516684

His car is fast. Nice guy, too, helped me out with my launches. It was good meeting all of you guys out there (I don't think that I got to meet everyone). My best run was a 13.81 @ 99.56 mph. Check out my bad driving in this thread
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=516742

I think that once I get my launch better I can pull a 13.5-6.
See you all next time.

John, very pleased with the raccoon eyes! I was doing the wiring last night, and I told myself I was just gonna stop then but I broke down and installed them. Awesome! I can't wait for tonight to really go for a spirited nighttime run.

aaahhhh, that's better.. Nice how I still havn't even gotten the soap off my windshield, huh?

That's my 04 in the background behind that civic. I ended up doing two runs right next to him. That thing was so loud (all motor, I guess) I could barely hear my car while staging. It also beat the crap outta me, he ran a 12.58 i think. Crazy little car.

I decided to try to leave it in 4th thru the traps, due to my low trap speeds on my previous runs...a best of 99.84mph. This run I came out like a raped ape, left it in 4th and hit the rev limiter about 150' from the end. The car fell on it's face and I shifted into 5th Here's the slip. Tell me what you think...

MPH 98.74 101.30
BTW, I'll be going to Cecil or Capitol this weekend in pursuit of my 12 second pass.
Sorry I didn't get to meet you.
Hey I think I saw your car while that Datsun wreck was getting cleaned up. Lane 5 I think, right at the front. I was in lane 7 a few cars back. Those are nice 60' times, congrats. I too was looking for the twelve second time but it wasn't meant to be. I look forward to running my STi when I get it. I guess I was having buyers(sellers?) remorse. It is good to see at least one person driving the car to it's potential. I just didn't happen to see those runs in person.
