Default Question on Tuning a UTEC with a EBC...

Hey guys,

I'm helping my friend to tune his UTEC with a EBC. We're running the basic STG4FMIC map with some little adjustment for the timing map ( Winter gas sucks) and we're doing great so far.

My only problem is with PTFB. I don't have any WB nor EGT gauge. And we can see (not hear) his car knocking while running some boost and not beeing at full throttle.

How much fuel should I add to the 0% column, and for which RPM ? 3500-5000 ?

Thanks

Sam

Adding fuel to the 0% column won't help your problem, so don't do it. You might want to either turn down the boost at partial throttle, or press the throttle less or more.

How can I turn down the boost at partial throttle ??

Remember, I'm not using the TXS ABC.

Thanks

Sam

yeh, I dunno how your ebc works. The best advice I could give is to either back off the throttle when seeing full boost under 63% throttle, or push it further......
