Default XEDE v UTEC

I'm sure people already talked about it, but I can't found the thread.
Which piggy back is better, xede or utec and why? I don't care about the price difference, i'm only interested in performances.
Thank you

Stephan

I would also like to hear peoples thoughts on this. I would say UTEC. I would also like to know what type of data logging the XEDE has. Will it log off of a wideband? Does it log off of the factory O2 sensor or not at all?

You can goto the Vishnu site and download the software for the XEDE. It gives you a pretty good idea on what it can do.

Download a few maps too, and you'll be able to see exactly what it does for each seperate stage.

As far as what is better perfomance wise... Couldn't tell you, I just got my WRX and am doing the same research as you guys.

I'm seeing that Vishnu's Stages are a little different then a few others, including TurboXS.

Here is the link to get XMap2.

Stephan,

The biggest problem encountered in CA with UTECs is getting them tuned for 91 octane. If you're not comfortable tuning it yourself, XS Engineering is right in your neighborhood and they do a good job.

I would offer to tune if for you next week when I'm in CA but I'm already booked solid.

Thanks,
Phil (motoxphil)
