Default Need a UTEC Tuner in L.A. Please Help!

I just installed a UTEC and Need it tuned. I have been getting FLASHING CEL's and don't want to blow up my engine. I talked to TurboXS and they could only recommend someone in NoCal area. Anyone who can help, please do. Thanks

Here is a link for AWD dynos : http://www.stealth316.com/2-awddynos.htm

GT Motorsports - they primarily deal with ECUTEK, no UTEC here.

Brainstorm - Mostly deal with LINK, told me they prefer not to do UTEC "Due to it's instability under high horsepower conditions" So im not sure if that is a definite "no".

Pann Auto Performance and XS Engineering may be your best bet. Also "DanMan" in Venice can road tune it.

Just moved to SoCal from the Seattle area; I'd love to tune some cars down here. I've been having fun detuning my 02 wagon to the great 91 octane we have here

I've done about 10 cars with varying mods. From stage 2 to 4. All street tuned according to the way you drive. I definitely don't hit all conditions but you'll see gains where you use it; I can consistently squeeze 25-30 HP @ stage 2 from the base maps. PM saggiowrx, traction, 03UURX, ErikAnderson, scrappydoo, RexRexRex or just about anyone in NWIC for refrences.

If you've got EGT and Wideband we can take things a bit further.

To get rid of the knock you should be able to follow mick_the_ginge's quick guide here (requires registration): http://www.wrxhackers.com/modules.ph...p=getit&lid=60

If tuning it yourself isn't your thing, drop me a PM. As for dynos, this is where I'm taking mine http://www.esxmotorsports.com/esx.htm.

- Ray

Yeah, I had an appointment with Dan a couple weeks ago, but I had to reschedule. He hasn't gotten back to my emails either, so I wasnt sure what was going on till I checked his website.

http://www-scf.usc.edu/~harman/d2d/

I guess he's out for a while. Dammit! I missed my chance to have him install some parts and tune my car.

Mandroid - I might take you up on your offer if you're available. Unless there's another UTEC tuner in the LA area.

Hey guys,

Sorry about lagging on your emails. I've put a hold on D2D operations through May so that I can focus on getting the new facility setup (and graduate!).

New shop is gonna be sweet though

XS just quoted me between 500 and 1000+ depending on the time it takes. its a little over 100 for inspection and hookup and 200 per hour (he told me to figure 2-4 hours for my stage 3).

Road tuning here I come!

Road for now. Working on getting a dyno to call home.

But you can drag me along to your favorite dyno (GT motorsports etc). Dynoing w\ 2 wideband 02's is really cool, and very informative. When we dynoed and tuned my car we had one in the downpipe and one in the tailpipe.
