Default High Beam Low Beam Project

I am working on a project that involves the use of the High and Low Beam wires inside the car using a relay. Is the following wired correctly in that Light2 A would Light with the Low beams switched on and then go off as light1 B goes on with the High beam switched on?

Yes, as long as the 12V to terminal 30 is the headlight switched power, so that the connected lights don't come on unless the headlights are on. Also if this is for the STi I'm not sure what the low beam switching situation is because of the HIDs, but I know you have the wiring diagram.

Mulder, thanks as always. I am a little confused though. If I had any 12 volt source at pin 30 and turning on the switch it would still light the light won’t it? It would just mean the little bulb would light before the headlamps were on because there are other positions on the switch before it? Yes I will be sure to test the voltage on any wires I use. I think I will be ok as long as I catch the wires before the relays and voltage changes.
