Default WTB: 3rd brake light assy

Well it worked once so I'll try again...

I need to buy a 3rd brake light assy for my STI, I'm de-winging it and now I need a 3rd brake light.

Again, any leads for info greatly appreciated!

You don't know about it..

You could always have a custom setup. Possibly an LED bar on the top of the window. If you go that route make sure you follow the DOT reg's.

What about a stock WRX HMBL?

It's much easier to pick up a stock WRX 3rd brake light assy, that's what I'm looking for...but thanks for the idea.

I live in Fairfax county, they're just looking for a reason to bust me....

I'll sell you mine. It's still in my car, but I've been meaning to take it out for a long time. I have a cover for the empty spot, too.

PMed you.

is a 3rd brake light necessary? or does it just depend on your location.

If you got a spoiler it more than likely has a functioning brake light on it, making the one in the window redundant/useless.

i believe after 1986 all cars sold in the US are required to have a 3rd brake light that is somewhat elevated when compared to the bumper lights....IIRC....don't quote me on that...
