Unhappy trunk pull issue..

okay, so wacky issue happening. my trunk pull isnt working. the key in the lock works just fine and after inspection the top latch and the bottom latch all seem to be working fine. the cable does its job too. i have a 93 GC8 L. just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue. it used to work and did on /off for a while, but now nada.

narf.

I ALWAYS disable the cable release on my cars.....I don't want anybody finding the dead bodys in there.....

It's a good security measure in case your car is broken into, the assclowns can't just pop the trunk and take what's in there...it makes it harder.

Well, one of three things happened then. Either the cable came loose from the trunk latch end, it came loose from the trunk pull end in the cabin, or the cable broke. Can you pull on your lever in the car and get someone to see if the cable is moving at the latch end?

Hey at worst we could just replace your trunklid with a giant piece of plexiglas and hoodpin it in place.

I'll come over tommorrow and we'll poke at it with a stick.

Oh wait.

We have phones for this.
