Default NEW Carbon Fiber Hoods for the WRX

VIS releases 2 new carbon hoods for the 2002-2003 Subaru WRX. The styles are going to set a new trend and keep your car ahead of the competition. The first hood is called the Tracer. The Tracer is a cross between the CWEST and a 2004 STI. With its vents on either side of the hood and huge 2004 STI look scoop, this hood will definitely win you shows. The next hood is called the Fusion. The Fusion is for people with Front Mount Intercoolers ONLY. The hood is similar to the JDM style Prova hood. With a aerodynamic shape, this hood has spaces for 3 vents. They come closed or you can cut them out for direct air flow.

Both hoods are of perfect VIS quality. A fiberglass underside all black and clean with no blemishes unlike other companies. The hoods wrap the carbon fiber around to the underside and all VIS hoods have the VIS badge. The hoods all have the mounting points for the stock latch and arms. VIS and Vivid Racing recommends Hood Pins for the car. We sell the Sparco Hood Pins on our online catalog HERE. The hoods are extremely light, lighter then stock.

Vivid Racing stocks these hoods in their wherehouse for immediate shipping via truck freight. Get yours today!!!

The Fusion hood is similar to the PROVA hood from Japan in style. I do not have pics of it on a car but will probably have them shortly as we will be fitting them to our own WRX's here for marketing photos.

Here is the Prova car similar in styling but not the same. Just to give you a feel of how that raised bump with induction scoop looks. If you click our link above for detailed images you can see other angles we have!

Hoods look great! I like the fuzion best. Is the scoop open, or does it need to be opened too? I would like to see some pics on a white wrx, especially mine! I gotta be strong until I get home in April! It would probably be great with the cf trunklid, too. Just can't yet!

Shipping is about $120 via truck freight depending on where you live. These do not fit the STI or 2004 WRX, however we have the SEIBON hoods INSTOCK for that car here -
http://vividracing.securesites.net/c...th=1_5_48_1182

The fusion hood vents are closed, they can be removed. Pics coming on a car soon! Stay tuned. And when you come back. I know you will call us!

Thanks

No different then the CWEST or Cusco. Plus think of the Kaminari water can get into all those. The 2004 Seibon hoods have a removable bottom. If you live in a area with alot of rain and you have to park outside then maybe this is not the best hood for you. If you were in love with it then it might be possible to make something for the underside to put on for those rainy days...

Good Question though!

Just wished that they made the Fusion hood without the SRT-4 style scoop in the front.
