hey, i really appreciate everyones help thus far in my project

but time for more questions! atleast this one is easy

i need to tap for power, i dont mind running wires behind my dash

but i need this for things that will be turned on when the ignition is on, or accessory, they ask for ignition, but i dont see a difference, its just gauges, avc-r, link <if there is a big difference PLEASE let me know>

i heard there are spare/empty fuse spots on the board, what numbers are they? i have a 99rs incase you were wondering which car it was for

thank you

cigarette lighter, its acc/run power only.

stuffing wires in the fuses is not a good idea.

make sure you fuse the power lead off the cigar lighter.

It's no problem using the lighter circuit for your stuff as long as the total current drawn by all the devices on the circuit doesn't exceed the fuse rating (actually it's a good idea to keep it at about 1/2 - 2/3 of the fuse rating, to maintain a good safety margin). The number of things connected isn't the issue, just the current.
And as Jay said, use proper wiring techniques.
