Default Once again, the media makes car enthusists look dumb.

http://wildcat.arizona.edu/papers/97/94/04_1.html

From a local college paper. what can I say, I may run into these people some day, so I'm making no comments about anyone.

If someone WTLW's me...oooohh, it is a day old.

...I think far too many car 'enthusiasts'(LMAO) make the rest of us look dumb, because THEY ARE.

$4000 to do a 14.2 quarter?
I did the same thing with Cobb stage 1 and intercooler hoses.

That was the worst article I have ever seen, what kind of degrees do they pass out at that school? And what kind of engineering students are those? I never once met an engineer at my school that was that stupid. Sure not all of them were smart, but that was just STUPID!

I caught that too...

Lame article. It said nothing, and I got no pleasure out of reading it. Highlight an '02 WRX, saying nothing about what was done to it. (how do you spend $4000, and only get 14s in the quarter!?)
Then talk in a little more depth about a '91 'Subaru' 300Z named 'Tha Z' (lame) and then throw in a used civic DX with rims? Wooo. Don't save your ace till the end! -The bug. Please.

That's about as bad as any other newspaper article though. 3rd grade reading level, and always fails to tie the whole thing up at the end.

It's hard to find intelligent writing, and I understand that article wasn't geared for 'tricked-out street racers' but good lord. Good luck on that journalism degree Gabe.
