Default Blown turbo and motor, need some build up suggestions..

Heres the deal, I blew my block and the turbo along with it this weekend and I'm trying to get some advice as to what to put in its place. I was looking at the axis power stage 3 and 4 blocks and doing the stage 2 cobb heads. As for a turbo, I would like something good for atleast 400whp on pump, especially if I'm going to have a built motor with more displacement.

Any thought and suggestions for engine or turbo would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Doug

If you have the money, Axis is the place to go.
If you're not set on money, i'd say go 2.5 sti block with maybe some better pistons, and the stage 2 heads.

Thats my suggestion

Not sure what the Garrett GT30 makes, but I like that one personally. Also a 6 speed you will need.

thanks for the fast replys, money may or may not be an issue depending on how quick I want it fixed.

I seen that greddy has a t67 turbo kit with uppipe and down pipe for the 2004 sti, I wonder if i could use that kit with the 2.5 sti block.

Oh one more thing will my heads fit right on the 2.5 block?

Yes I'm looking into trannys, I have learnt the hard way enough.

I just relooked at the stage 2 from axis and it seems to be pretty affordable at $2400.oo pre assembled with forged pistons. Do you guys think the stock rods are strong enough?
