its the same housing, just pull the housing. Replace you bulbs, cut your low beam wires and splice them into the ballast power supply. Dont forget to remove the daytime runninglight module.

Well I've got the whole headlight assembly coming (housing, ballasts, bulbs) and my drl's have been disabled from behind the glove box. So all I would need to do is cut the single power supply wire for the lowbeams and splice it into the ballast power supply? I don't need another ground or anything? Anyone have any pics?

You do need a different ground. The HIDs should NOT be connected to the existing low beam ground, but to a direct chassis ground. You can use the existing common power.

Sounds good. What guage wire should be used for the ground and can you recommend any good grounding locations?

You don't need to use very heavy wire, 12 gauge is fine as long as you keep the run as short as possible and make the connections solid. On the drivers side you can either go to the negative battery terminal or the existing chassis ground on the fender, passenger side the fender is best since it's right there.
