Default Installing Gauges Q's

Well to start off I have a GC8 and bought auto meter phantom series A/F, oil temp, oil pressure, volts, vac, pyrometer. Now for the questions, Is the A/F going to accurite? What are operating numbers for all the gauges or abouts? And any install tips for where they should be installed or how they should be installed?

thanks ben

If you purchased a 5v meter it will be very accurate, if you got a 1v it will be accurate to some extent....just slow to respond. Reason being the second O2 sensor(the 1 volt one) is after the cat, so the readings won't be the best but depending on what you are doing they might help.

As for placement I'd get the factory guage housing(above the center vents) and/or on the steering column. That only holds 3 guages though.

where would I look to find a 5v meter?

I have the A piller and center gauge pod, now is there a place where I can get one that will fit in the factory stereo din?

The AF is only accurate while cruising and to get a general idea
where you are (overall stoich or overall lean, rich)

It is not responsive enough to do any accurate
tuning on it but i like to have it in my car to monitor my
general mix while cruising.
