Default Forrester conversion

A friend of mine here in Taiwan has a NA 03 Forrester. Since SOT (Subaru of Taiwan) does not intend to sell the Forrester XT, my friend is looking to doing a engine/tranny swap. IE. Changing his current NA engine for the Forrester XT engine.

Has anyone done this conversion before? If so, what does the conversion require?

Thanks all!

Sorry, I can't give you direct assistance on the matter.
But this company in Eastern USA has experience. Here is a link to their site - hope this helps. Engine Swap

Thanks for the responses, guys!

My friend already has the XT hood and exhaust. He wanted to go the STi path, but the cost is just too high. The XT drivetrain is what he is looking for. Anyone have a XT engine, wiring harness and ECU lying around?

Oh and another quick question:
If he uses the XT engine, will the WRX 5 speed tranny bolt right up?
