Thumbs up finally a ture baja forum member :D

Hey all,

I just picked up my Baja T tonight .

I got a call from my dealer and SOA called and said that they had to postpone the delivery untill March or April at the soonest mainly due to the color was suspected. The Mystic Blue is extreamly rare. My Salesperson did a search in the entire state of CA and there was only 1 Baja T avaiable and it was on their lot. So I took that one and they are going to excersize it to the way I want it. Just have to wait untill the parts come in, but I can live with that. I ended up with the Black Granite on Charcole. Another black car, but I am up for the chalange again. I love the ride hight and the responsiveness. And it is Sooooooo quiet inside, almost 0 road nosie. I ended up having to let go of a couple of options that I wanted, the trailer hitch and boost gauage, but I will get them later and saved $400 over what was quoted so I am happy.

Just need to wait for the auto dimming mirror, Bed Extender, Air Filtration kit, Dif protector, moonroof (or star roof as my wife calls it) diflector, Hood Diflector (acrylic), and Splash guard kit. But they are suposed to be in on Tuesday .

Over all, my purchas has been extreamly easy, laid back, and unstressed as possible. I recommend Subaru of Santa Cruz to anyone to purchase their subies.

I know that they have had the baja on the lot for a while, I test drove it a month ago and they had it for a month before that. But it only had 50 miles on it, so it is all good.

took some pictures today:

Subaru Stars Congrats

Congrats on your new toy. I too, will be waiting until April or so, and have yet to hear any news telling me otherwise. I've thought about driving to Atlanta and picking up the Black 5-speed they've had on their lot for some time, but would rather wait for mine to roll off the truck fresh and ready to go. Oh well, said it before, will say it again, more time to save for the down payment!

Smile baja owner...?s..

Hey,

I got a non turbo 03 solid mystic blue baja around september. The dealer told me it was a test colour for 04. I love the colour!! Its my first subaru and only my second car. I love it so much. But the switchgate thing......has any1 actually used it yet? I jsut open it on nice sunny days with the sunroof to make it nice and breezy. Are there any baja clubs forming? Also, does anybody here if they make the baja in japan? or is it just in the u.s and canada?
thanks,
frank

from what I understand the Baja is only in US, Canada, and Australia. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Just got back yesterday from our road trip to san diego. The 1200 mile trek was ausome in the baja and very confortable, and not to mention, no more break-in period .
