Default can't get to grommit in firewall for amp power cable.

Alright, I've done a search and I've found some pictures but it looks like the hole in the firewall is right behind the intercooler and there so many lines and cables in there that I can't see anything, and even if i could I wouldn't be able to reach it.

I tried accessing it from the inside as well and found what looks like the entry point right above the gas pedal, except i can't punch a hole through the cover. Is that the right spot? Do I just need to stab it real hard to get through it?

Any tips? Are these the right access points???

Oh, i'm in an STi if that makes a difference...

Nevermind, i figured it out. there's two circles... one high above the gas pedal... and one right behind the brake pedal... the one behind the brake pedal is the correct one since the plastic cover comes off and there's rubber behind it... I ended up jacking the car up and crawling under and then you can find the hole pretty easily. I'll post better pics for everyone when i'm done.

the higher-up one you have to remove the plastic trim around the wiper blades to access.

Any tips?
Remove the intercooler. Half a dozen screws and it's out. Then you'll have plenty of room to work.
