Default 93 Imperza bucking?

I have a problem with my Imperza 93 1.8 NON Turbo it started about a week ago the car acts like it is starving for gas if you dont dive it a lot of gas when you take off it will buck and it sounds like it backfires only its not really loud like a backfire and it sounds like it is coming out of the engine bay. it does this in all the gears sometimes it will run like a top and somtimes it will run fine and then act like it was losing power. what the heck is wrongwith my car?
I replace the fuel and air filter not the problem,,

Is the car a 5 MT? Not to be rude but are you shifting/clutching correctly? If its not that you may want to replace the plugs and plug wires.

Yes it is a MT five speed I am shifting correctly. No offense taken. I have been told that it sounds like the car is not breathing correctly like mabye the catalytic converter is bad. any thoughts on that.

Could be a bad cat or even your O2 sensor.

Impreza GC8 vacuum leak

Really sounds like a vacuum leak. Look for loose or damaged vacuum hoses, check your air intake.
