Default anyone modify a EJ25 DOHC intake manifold?

hey, ive got a spare mani to play with, anyone modded one to flow better high end?

are you gonna use this on your supercharged H6?

It has been done, but the problem is that the area at the top of the runners where the plenum connects is inaccessabel, and that is where the bends and a good part of the restriction lies. I have toalked to a couple of tuners about this and their only suggestion to do this right is to cut the manifold, port it and then weld it back together...

extrude hone? thats when the run a gritty puddy through the manifold. just an idea.

i was thinking about actualy just keeping the flanges and making a sheet metal plenum and runners or modifying the runers to be shorter then welding them onto the plenum. hmm. however i cant weld. narf

talk to Dcoty. He and his brother have been doing some custom manifold work in Dan's quest to break 13's. They may or may not be willing to share their designs at this point...

depends on guage etc. id use somthing thick enough to be durable. sure i could grab random dubing that would fit at my buddys shop. i think
